1. Good Luck

You awoke me from a slumber
You brought your fire in the cold
I remember when you told me you were silver
And I could've sworn you were gold
Splintered under heated, smoky, northern skies
Joy painted white like a wall
And now you got me calling red rover
Can you come over
So I forget all that I know

I broke all the rules for you

Good luck coming home early
Good luck waking on time
Good luck feeling so lonely
Good luck with the morning light

Getting lost could make or break it
But maybe we could try
to live without a map or compass
or constellations in the night
You fear the lightning might take away your whole life
While I chase thunder just to see
But then my words come out poorly like you don't even know me
A trail of dangerous debris
